Notification of Urgent Maintenance

Purpose of Maintenance:
In response to a specific vendor advisory, TasmaNet will be performing urgent maintenance to networking equipment located in our TDC3 site (TAS01,TAS) during the works window. TasmaNet always indicates a longer window than required, so that in the event of any issues, our engineers can resolve them within the prescribed time.

Affected Services: (TAS Only)
- Internet Services
- NBN services including:
  - Residential and Business Ethernet Bitstream Service (NEBS)
  - Enterprise Ethernet (EE)

Expected Impact:
Customers will experience an outage of up to 10-20 minutes as the maintenance work is being undertaken. The total time the network will be in a hazardous state is estimated to be no more than 4 hours.
Our NOC will monitor this work closely and send an additional advisory should the maintenance be unsuccessful or have to be rolled back. If you have any questions related to this issue please don't hesitate to respond to servicedesk@tasmanet.com.au
